Flannery Publications
Welcome to the Simbey.com Business Page!

My name is David Gould, and I am currently the webmaster for Flannery Publications.  A screen shot of the Flannery Publications website is shown to the left.  The newspapers on the front page change each week, but the green color scheme is pretty constant.

I began building the internal booking website for Flannery Publications in August, 2004.  Back then, the public website was hosted by a third party.  Around February of 2005, I merged the public website with the booking database.  The only thing I actually added to the front page was the login box!

Now the Flannery Publications website runs directly out of the Raymond, WA, office.  The company E-Mail is also served from the company server using my SimbeyMail E-Mail Server.  Some of the company reps had been using a webmail program to access their E-Mail before the websites were merged, so I put together a special webmail program for interfacing with the SimbeyMail E-Mail server.

I still spend most of my time working on the private sections of the website.  A lot of that time is spent working on ActiveX controls, either server-side or client-side.  There are also some desktop based applications I am building for Flannery Publications, including a booking program for the tablet PC!

If you have any questions or comments about my work, please write to me at simbey@simbey.com.  This is going to sound a little funny, but your E-Mail will bounce if it or the server sending it does not end in .com, .org, .edu, .net, .gov, .mil, or .int.  This rule alone stops most of the spam I receive!
